Portland Business Journal: Rain the Growth Agency Ranked Largest Creative Agency
Published at Portland Business Journal August 14, 2020
Rain the Growth Agency ranks atop the Portland Business Journal’s list of Largest Creative Agencies in the Portland Metro Area, based on the 2019 fiscal year revenue totals provided by participating organizations.
Creative development, production, and full post-production capabilities have been a staple of the agency’s service offerings since its inception in 1998. That division of the company produces an average of 30 campaigns each year, most of which include video assets used for digital and TV campaigns.
In addition to creative, Rain the Growth Agency offers a full list of services to its clients—everything from Brand Strategy and Research, Media Planning and Buying (both digital and offline media), to Marketing Analytics.
The agency’s ability to scale its clients’ businesses coincides with its capability to adapt. Despite COVID-19 and the obstacles it has created for production logistics, the agency has managed to produce several creative campaigns since mid-March, when it asked it’s employees transitioned to work from home.
“Rain the Growth Agency is a national agency headquartered in Portland — we’ve proven that it’s possible to thrive and be an impactful partner outside of the traditional, big-3 advertising markets,” says CEO and Co-Founder Michelle Cardinal. “We love Portland, and we’ve been fortunate to attract world-class talent to this wonderful city as our agency has developed over the years.”
Previous Portland Business Journal announcements ranked Rain the Growth Agency, formerly known as R2C Group until rebranding in January of 2020, at No. 1 for six of the last seven years, since the agency began sharing revenue information with the publication in 2014.
