Maté Party

About the Founder

Jesica Oliverio is a visionary entrepreneur on a mission to redefine energy drinks with Maté Party, a bold and refreshing alternative to conventional yerba mate beverages. When Jesica started Maté Party, her goal was simple yet revolutionary: to craft a yerba mate that tastes like yerba mate—earthy, energizing, and delicious. Disappointed by sugary, stevia-filled options on shelves, she took matters into her own hands during the COVID-19 pandemic, experimenting in her kitchen to create a beverage that embodies her values of sustainability and authenticity.

Maté Party stands out as the only yerba mate brand that uses real yerba mate leaves—no extracts, no artificial sweeteners, and no plastic packaging. The result? A clean, honest product you’d brew at home. Jesica’s dedication to people and the planet fuels her drive to scale Maté Party with integrity, making her an inspiring addition to the SheScales community.

What is your top accomplishment in the past year and what are you hoping to improve on with the business within the next year?

My top accomplishment in 2025 is definitely launching Maté Party into Whole Foods Market here in the Pacific Northwest- a huge milestone that still feels surreal. It’s been amazing to see the brand grow from a small idea into something on shelves in a huge natural chain like Whole Foods. In the next year, I want to strengthen our marketing systems to support growth into other Whole Foods’ Market regions.

What are you most looking forward to joining the SheScales program?

I’m a total sponge for knowledge, and marketing is the one area I haven’t fully wrapped my head around yet. I’m really looking forward to learning the ins and outs, from strategy to best practices to execution and then having the structure and accountability to turn my ideas into action!

What areas of marketing do you believe you are proficient in and what areas do you think you need more support with?

I feel confident in my flavors, creativity, and problem solving. Where I could use support is really getting my brand voice down and gaining confidence in compelling storytelling especially on social media. I'd also like to learn from an expert which lane to focus on, or at least, which to begin with. I would love to get better at turning creative ideas into repeatable measurable results!
