About the Company

Website: https://www.mosaicmakers.co
When was the company founded? 2018
Where is the company located? Texas: We have one location in Dallas, and one in Waco

What is/are your top-selling product or products?

We have a LOT of successful artisans and brands in shop - and items that celebrate the local community seem to sell best.

What is your top accomplishment in the past year and what are you hoping to improve on with the business within the next year?

Our top accomplishment in the past year has been expanding Mosaic Makers Collective to a second location in Waco, Texas. Opening this new store near the Silos has allowed us to bring our mission of community and empowerment to even more female makers, while also connecting with a vibrant new customer base. It’s been an incredible step forward for us, and seeing the makers thrive in this new space has been so rewarding.

Looking ahead, one of our biggest goals is to improve and grow our online sales. While our physical stores are thriving hubs of creativity, we see enormous potential in reaching a wider audience through e-commerce. We want to create a seamless and engaging online shopping experience that mirrors the sense of connection and authenticity customers feel in our stores. This will not only help our makers expand their reach but also allow more people to discover and support their work.

What are you most looking forward to joining the SheScales program?

I'm most looking forward to the mentorship from women who are experts in the marketing field. Having the opportunity to learn from leaders with such depth of experience and insight is invaluable. I'm especially excited to refine how we tell our story and how we sell our products. Mosaic Makers Collective is built on connection and empowerment, and I believe this program will help us share that mission more effectively while reaching new audiences in meaningful ways.

What areas of marketing do you believe you are proficient in and what areas do you think you need more support with?

I feel proficient in social media and SEO—these are areas where we've been able to connect with our audience and drive traffic effectively. However, there are a few key areas where I know we could use more support.

First, paid ads for online sales are a big opportunity for us, but we need help crafting and optimizing campaigns that convert. Second, email marketing is an area where I want to do more, especially when it comes to nurturing our audience and driving repeat business. Finally, better storytelling—conveying our mission and the unique stories of our makers in a way that deeply resonates with customers—is something I’d love to improve. These are the areas where I believe mentorship and expertise will make a huge difference.
